I created an orientation program for new SUU students that will provide them with valuable information about the school they are attending. My partner Natalia Rementilla, the volunteer Presidential Ambassadors, and I helped freshmen, transfers, foreign exchange, nontraditional, and all other new students find their Fall 2016 classes around the campus by giving each student on individual tour based specifically on their schedule.

This tour helped freshman, transfer, and international students grow accustom to and take advantage of the all the resources available at SUU. For example, many students did not know where and how to utilize the Testing Center. By including the Testing Center, Library, and Writing Center on the tour - along with the students individual classes - made for a smoother transition. Especially for those new students who are living away from home for the first time, the tour provided some ease mind. By providing this tour, students were saved from the embarrassment and stress of not being able to find their classes the first day of semester.
