About Me

Hi! I am Kyra Payne, a junior at Southern Utah University. My major is English: Creative Writing with a minor in History. I plan to become a New York Times Best-selling Novelist writing historical fiction.

I am a full time student, focusing on graduation! I also work part time in Technical Services at the SUU Library, which is perfect because the library is my favorite place to be on campus.

I am Las Vegas, born and raised. Writing is my passion and I was published in Chicken Soup for the Soul as a teenager. In high school I was a State Thespian Officer, Yearbook Editor, and HOBY alumnni. I love spending time with my family most, especially hiking and going to Disneyland.
